Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre Actors

our actors come from all over the bay area. Some have been with GibsonHouse for over seven years now! Each actor offers a unique quality to the team. Here is a partial list of our performers (in alphabetical order):

Actor Levi Damione Levi Damione - Levi has been performing with and representing Gibsonhouse since 2000. He is currently the Los Angeles Regional Director. He can be seen in an upcoming National commercial for DirecTV about their children's educational programming. You may also be able to catch him in the upcoming SciFi Channel movie Dead & Deader which stars Dean Cain, Guy Torry and Peter Greene among others. His most recent main stage performance was in the production of Louis Sachar's Holes at the Orpheum Theatre in San Francisco. Levi has a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from San Francisco State University. Levi is particularly honored to have received a Dean Goodman Choice Award "For Outstanding Performance in a Principle Role" for A Man of No importance at San Francisco's New Conservatory Theatre. Dinner Theatre Actor Greg Davis Greg Davis - A master of improvisation, Greg has been working with GibsonHouse for over eight and a half years and is a favorite of the Murder Mystery clientele. Greg originally started in the field of acting doing voiceovers and commercials and has also preformed in the production of “Fantastics” in Walnut CreekGreg was introduced to John Gibson of GibsonHouse Mystery Performers in 1996 and has been performing Murder Mysteries ever since. Being a very versatile actor, he has performed such roles and Slim Downe, Sam Shovel, Frankie Marzetti, Ambrose Herringbone, Warren Peeze, Bud Inski, Captain Giovanni, Dr. Beabore, Professor Turnbull, Ari Gant, Marshall Matt Dilling, George Pappinoppolapola, Juan Arnold Tom Ben Harvey Ricardo Jack Tiger Tyme, and many more.  Besides being an accomplished actor for GibsonHouse, Greg has also written THREE scripts for the murder mystery noir and has received acclaim for his writing.
Murder Mystery Actress Michelle Canon

Michelle Davis – With her love of acting, Michelle joined GibsonHouse in 2002. To support her acting habit, Michelle has worked in the relocation industry for over 14 years and is currently employed by Old Republic National Title Company. Her many credits include Miss Kitten, Prudy Frudee, Tillie Gillespie, Barrie Patch, Ginger Snapp, Princess Dorado, Patti Gree, Eli Gant, and Jewel Restorre.

Janet M. Duhe - Janet is a seasoned theatre buff and has performed on numerous stages in the Bay Area with community and professional theatre companies as an both an actress and singer. Among her favorite roles was Maude in the recent British farce in Napa, "Not Now Darling," Trudy in "Social Security," Mrs. Pearce in "My Fair Lady," Monica in "The Bad Seed," Norah in "Auntie Mame," Mrs. Applebee in "Nightwatch" for which she earned an Arty Award for best supporting actress. She has also enjoyed performing fun character roles from ballet productions of the "Nutcracker" to opera chorus roles in La Boheme, Carmen and La Traviata. Her favorite area of role playing is comedy and improv and loves "live" audiences, so being a member of GibsonHouse Murder Mystery Theatre is a perfect place to have fun and show her talent for making people smile and laugh!
Jim Donnelly has performed in community theatre in the San Francisco Bay Area at Palo Alto Players, Woodminster Amphitheatre where he sang in the chorus for “Pirates of Penzance” and “My Fair Lady”, ArtRise Theatre as Mr. Paravacini in Agatha Christie’s “The Mouseterap” and Hayward Little Theatre where he received their Best Actor award for his lead role as Charlie Baker in “The Foreigner.” Jim has also been active in local TV commercials such as the California Earthquake Authority, Cal Football and Doctors On Duty among others. Occasionally, Jim has been in corporate training films for JVC, Safeway, Varian Electronics, Summit Medical Center and Belltone Electronics. He has done several voice over tracks on radio commercials for companies like FedEx, Gap and others. Jim has mastered many foreign accents and enjoys doing impersonations of popular stars and characters in more than twenty dinner theatre roles.
John Gibson - Not only is he the Producer & Director of GibsonHouse, John is a participating actor as well. His roles include, Al Gillespie, Hyram Loftt, Les Fulle, Captain Mac, & Old Doc. Also, he's a recent Shellie Award Best Actor nominee for his role as Shelly Levene in Glengarry Glen Ross at the Dean Lesher Center of Performing Arts in Walnut Creek.
Murder Mystery Actor Joe Guistino Joe "Flambo" Guistino - He has acted in two dozen theatrical productions since arriving in the bay area in 1989. His memorable roles include Pseudolous in "A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum", Schmendiman in "Picasso at the Lapine Agile", Jake in "Jake's Women" and Ernie in "Rumors" for which he won a Best Supporting Actor "Artie." He is also a master harmonica player and can be seen playing with a number of bands in the area. He is a motorcycle and car mechanic by virtue of his penchant for old Harleys and early model sports cars, poet, poker degenerate, lover of his beautiful wife, father, water quality guru for a local water utility and event planner for the annual Benicia Mardi Gras Celebration each spring. He has been performing with GibsonHouse since Fall 2002. Despite rumors to the contrary, he has never been a stand-in for Fabio.
Murder Mystery Actor

Richard Hendricks (Sam Shovel) has been entertaining audiences for more than 20 years. He got bitten by the acting bug in high school, graduated from Santa Clara University with a minor in Theater, and has kept his hand in numerous theatrical endeavors ever since. He's performed locally in the Bay Area with Comedy Sportz, Lyric Theatre, Gaslighter Theater, Mystery by Design, and Gibson House Mysteries. While he was in Los Angeles, he was part of the improv group The Java Junques and played a Dead Borg that was stepped over by Worf in the opening credits of the Star Trek: TNG episode "I, Borg"! Some of the major influences on Richard's performing career include The Second City, Forbidden Broadway, and the Capitol Steps, which explains his warped sense of humor!

Dinner Theatre Actor James Koponen James Koponen - James has been a bay area actor for over fourteen years now. His experience also spans community television hosting, television commercials and occasional movie work. Along with having authored Murder in Space and Murder at the KO Corral, his acting roles include Captain Al Koholic, Joey Marzetti, John Disse, Billy Club, Doodie Frudee, Horace Cope, and Black Eyed Pete. His stage roles include Gaston in Beauty and the Beast. Billy in Carousel, Bobby Child in Crazy for You (Stage 1 Theatre), Scarecrow in Wizard of Oz (DLOC), Will Parker in OKLAHOMA! (Hayward Little Theatre), Vinnie in Once Upon a Time in New Jersey (Las Positas College), Lt. Cable in South Pacific (Pleasanton Playhouse) and Lamb in The Hothouse (University of London). Aside from performing, James is completing his Master's in English at Cal State Hayward (East Bay). Other hobbies include jogging, piano, French, creative writing and traveling around the globe taking photos of anything that will hold still long enough for a picture. Tina Rene Luisen - Tina has been involved in the theatre for a grand total of sixteen years. She has performed in theatres all over the Bay Area for over 5 years now. Tina has been performing with Gibson House for over 3 years and has enjoyed making audiences happy and glad that they have been a part of the Gibson House Murder Mystery experience.
Actor Dan Monez Dan Monez - Dan is honored to have been asked to join Gibson House Mystery Performers.  He has been in over a dozen stage plays in the North Bay Area, and is the former President of Dreamweavers Theatre in Napa. Dan retired after 33 years in law enforcement, 17 of which were as Police Chief in the city of Napa.  He is currently the Executive Director of Napa TV a community access cable television station and a frequent fill-in host of KVON radio’s “Afternoon Edition.” Dan and his wife Diana reside in Napa.
Siobhan O'Brien - If you're wondering how the heck to say her name, it's pronounced Sha-von!  Joining Gibson House in 2006, she has been performing in Bay Area theater since she was old enough to walk!  She has done everything to drama, film, musicals and most recently being a ventriloquist! Also to brag winning 2 Arty Awards for comedy!  You can see her in some roles as Faye Slift and Bella Cose and hopefully many more Gibson house episodes to come! Details at 11!
Murder Mystery Actress Lisa Pickup

Lisa Pickup - Lisa joined the Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre team in 2005 and has now portrayed several roles including: Annie Takers in Murder in Space, Crystal Kleare in Shadow of a Murder and Rose Tattoo in Murder on the High Seas. Her acting background spans community theatre along with commercial, print and industrial work. By day, Lisa is a massage therapist and licensed aesthetician.

Krisi Pilkington - A glorious character actress. Her many credits include Polly Astor, Rose Tattoo, Dr. Judy Frudee, Gina, Gemini, Miss Maude, Princess Dorado, Granny, Ginger, and more!

Ron Sacchi - Has been performing in the greater San Francisco Bay Area for over two decades. His varied credits include: Peter Pan (Hook), God’s Favorite (Sidney Lipton), Same Time Next Year (George), and more recently Tina and Tony’s Wedding, Accomplice, and Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. Starting his theatrical career in film acting and comedy writing, Ron turned to Gibson House as therapy for his 8-5 corporate job in 2001 and hasn’t looked back since.
Jeffrey Tan - Jeff has been performing at various East Bay venues, since 2004.  His favorite roles include Mortimer Brewster in "Arsenic & Old Lace" with Tri-Valley Repertoire in Pleasanton and Peter Hunter in "No Sex Please, We're British" with Broadway West, in Fremont.  He has performed in several musicals with Tri-Valley Repertoire Theatre, Diablo Theatre Company and Douglass Morrisson Theatre.  Besides acting, Jeff's other passion is golf, golf and more golf!
Alex Torres - A former award-winning Toast Master and Motivational Speaker since 1995, Alex joined GibsonHouse Mystery Performers in 1999 to play opposite his wife, Serena Gibson Torres. Without an acting background, he ended up commanding the audiences attention with his natural talent and hasn't stopped ever since. His many roles include: Joey Carmine, Taurus, Yves de Paina, Joey Marzetti, Curt Tail, Robert Wright, Rudy Frudee, Deet Tail, Billy Clubb, John Disse, Juan Tyme/Bill O'Faire, and more! Alex's first passion is Home Theater Systems. In 2004, Alex took a risk and started his own Home Theater Design and Install Company, TNT Audio and Video. His clientele range from all over the East Bay, including: Orinda, Oakland Hills, San Raphel and San Francisco.   As an actor and entrepreneur, he is 100% passionate and dedicated.
Serena Gibson Torres - Serena has been performing on stage since 1984.  Her favorite stage roles include Martha Brewster in Arsenic and Old Lace, The Scarecrow in The Wiz, and Pauline in A Kind of Alaska. She has been involved in all aspects of theater including lights, make-up, costumes, sound, stage managing, and directing.  She graduated in 1993 from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelors in Fine Arts. Moving from Florida to California in 1993, she has been involved with Murder Mystery ever since. Her credits include:  Gemini, Gina, Patti Gree, Polly Astor, Ginger, Sue Veneer, Miss Kitten, Miss Faith Fulle, Granny Goodhart, Jewel Restorre, Marion, and Trudy Prudee. For fun, she is currently wrapping up her second Murder Mystery script. Serena is not only fortunate enough to pursue her passion, but she shares it with her fellow actors and favorite men in her life: Her father, John Gibson, and her loving husband, Alex Torres.
